2. Update on York Plan Amendments (Anne & Helen)
Report on May 27 Planning Commission hearing and June 9 meeting with Jeff Thomas, Interim Planning Director
Next steps: Plans for Commission hearing, August 12. Public hearing closed; written comment will still be accepted until August 12.
Anne presents the proposal for work group panel regarding Ellis Street future. Thomas is in support of this proposal . This will entail a review of York Plan Amendment process highlighting Planning Staff’s position, YNA’s position and current outcomes.
What to do in response to accusation of "bullying?"
MOTION MADE for Anne will follow up with a phone call to Commissioner Danne Neill to ask her to expand upon her comments. Anne will also call Planning Commission Chair Tom Barrett to report that she followed his recommendation to speak directly with Neill and requests that he look into appropriate procedures during hearings.

3. Plans for July 21 general meeting
Proposal that in July we meet third Wednesday instead of second Wednesday due to Planning Commission schedule. Potluck dessert social from 6:30-7pm. Jake will ask Opportunity Council Community Energy Challenge representative to come present at the beginning of our meeting.
4. Yorker newsletter - July issue
Deadline likely July 1. Ready for distribution weekend of July 14th.
5. Rental licensing update (Dave)
Exciting breakthrough that WWU Associated Students has written a resolution in support of rental licensing. The Western Front also recently supported licensing.
